“All Politics is Local” – Register today for our Annual Meeting

Please join us Wednesday, April 20th at 6:30 pm

Dutchess County Minority Leader Yvette Valdes Smith Will be Our Guest Speaker

With Politics is Local as a theme, we invite you to participate in a discussion with Dutchess County Minority Leader Yvette Valdés Smith about the role of women in local politics, a review of recent developments in Dutchess county, and learn more about where the county is headed. Yvette is the only elected Latina currently serving in Dutchess County, and her district includes parts of Beacon and Fishkill. Yvette has been delivering for her constituents since Day 1, and we’re excited to hear more from her about some of the key challenges and opportunities facing Dutchess County and what we, as active and concerned women Democrats, can do to help make Dutchess County a healthier, wealthier and more inclusive community for all residents.

In keeping with our bylaws, our 2022 Annual Meeting will be held virtually on Wednesday, April 20th @ 6:30 PM. The Annual Meeting provides members with the opportunity to confirm new executive committee members, review and vote on proposed changes to our bylaws, political platform and criteria for endorsing local candidates.

To participate in this virtual meeting, please register now.

Your membership is a significant source of funding for the DDWC and contributes directly to our mission to train, mentor, and fund local Democratic women running for office. Please join us in this mission by becoming a 2022 member today!

We have many excellent candidates to support in their run for county and state level offices in 2022, and we can’t do it without you.
