On June 11, some members of our DDWC Leadership Committee did community outreach at the 2022 PKGO Pride Parade & Festival at Waryas Park in Poughkeepsie to celebrate and recognize members of our local LGBTQIA community. We talked to attendees about why Democrats are the party of inclusion and the importance of getting involved with local elections as candidates, political activists and voters and why now is the time to elect more women Democrats to office.
